Geothermal areas
Use only authorized public areas. Stay behind current barriers and signs; the app cannot judge heat, ground stability, visibility or access safety.
Public routes
Confirm current opening, surface, distance, return point and accessibility with the responsible operator. Commonroom Edition is not navigation.
Buddy agreements
A buddy can notice pauses and group separation, but is not automatically a supervisor, carer, medic or emergency responder.
Food and health
General hosting prompts are not medical, dietary or allergy advice. People with serious needs should follow their own safety plan and qualified guidance.
Immediate emergencies
Use local official instructions. In New Zealand, call 111 for immediate police, fire or ambulance assistance. The app sends no alert and has no live incident function.
